The Naleway family Thanksgiving will be virtual this year, and we will "meet" Sunday, November 28 at 2:00 pm Pacific time. So grab your pie and let's celebrate the holiday and each other! Thought you might be interested in some photos from Lisa's retirement party held July 7, after 34 years of state service. Lisa writes "With the foundation and values instilled by our beloved parents, I always worked diligently for the people of California. My priorities always included fostering a happy, healthy, and productive culture for employees - 1,400 in my last position as Deputy Director, Tax Branch. I embraced the challenge of optimizing use of technology and continually sought to maximize process efficiency while meanwhile providing excellence in customer service. I am proud of the many accomplishments within Tax Branch, and have always been proud to be a civil servant." We know Dad would be proud of you, Lisa!

 

  Hulllooo, family, Just a reminder that we have moved our monthly Zoom call to the last Sunday of the month, September 26 at 2:00 pm Pacific time. We have lots of birthday peeps this month, starting with Eric, me (milestone), Jack and Cameron. And of course, we will all honor Dad in our own way with a special remembrance on the 21st. Lisa and Eric will be back from their Greek odyssey, so we can't wait to hear all about it! Hey Family, A good time was had by all on our July call, sharing news, poking a little fun at each other and participating in the traditional reading of the birthday cards.  Naleway Family - the Early Years We have decided our August call will be held on Sunday, August 22. Because Chuck is acting as docent that Sunday, we will begin a little later, so that he can participate in some of the call. I hope that is okay for everyone else.  Next Zoom Call Just a reminder that at our last session, we agreed that the next family call will be on June 20, Father's Day, at 2:00 pm. In June, there are lots of anniversaries: Marty and Glenda, Jeff and Sue, Jess and Blake, Michelle and Tamar and Jack and Hilary. Congratulations to all our June brides and grooms! June is the one month without a bunch of birthdays, but we spend a moment remembering our Mom, who was born on the 16th. We also celebrate Dad on Father's Day. And maybe a funny recollection about Paul, who we still miss every day. Zoom info will be posted the week before Father's Day, but make sure to mark your calendars now, and hope to see everyone.

Just a reminder that our May Naleway Zoom call is set for Sunday, May 23 at 2:00 pm. Our birthday celebrants for the month are: Myron, Chanelle who will be 2, Jessica, Logan who will be 1, Alanna, and Chuck. The Zoom link will be sent the week of May 16. Hope to see everyone's happy faces!
